question about exercise classes

We are booked on a 15 day roundtrip cruise to Hawaii from LA on the Island Princess. Since there are so many sea days, I am wondering if there are exercise classes offered everyday that are free of charge and what they consist of? I am wondering which classes they charge for and are those classes worth the extra money? Thanks for any info on this subject. With ten days at sea, I need something to do plus help with the extra weight I always gain on a cruise. So the natural solution would be daily exercise classes.

I don't know about that particular ship, but the Star Princess ran 1/2 hr ab classes and step/alternating TBC classes every morning free, starting at 7:30.

Walk a mile started at 7:00/abs 7:30/step 8:00

2 hrs free kept me in shape and the classes were great. They also have afternoon sessions. Yoga, Spin, and Pilates are $10 per class. They also sell a pass good for the cruise, but in my opinion it is costly and not necessary. Running the stairs is always a good option.

On the Star, the steam and sauna were also free and many lines charge for them.
