Flight Seats

We went out to join Adonia on one of her last cruises in February of this year. We would normally book Premium Seating but as we were originally booked on the return Transatlantic cruise from Barbados back to Southampton which was cancelled to allow Adonia to stay in the Caribbean, we had to transfer to a different cruise. When we did this as all the Premium seats had gone. We had the 3-3-3 seating. We didn't really want to book the window seat and the one next to it as it would mean we had to disturb whoever was in the aisle seat if we wanted to get out. So we decided to book the aisle seat and then the aisle seat on the end of the middle 3 seats, if you see what I mean. This meant we would both have aisle seats but still be next to each other. However, when we got on board we found it not quite so easy. I'll try to explain. If you have Seats 12 ABC aisle - 12DEF aisle 12GHI window, we chose 12C and 12D - simple. No, next to 12C was 11D so we were not adjacent. It didn't really matter but I just thought it odd.

Hi,if you guys go on seat guru website,it states the 787 seats are narrower than the 767 on thompson, cheers,Brian.

I would agree .We have been on both and the seats were wider on the 767.We found that on the Dreamliner there was plenty of legroom but the seats were narrow and quite uncomfortable (and I'm not exceptionally large) especially with a stranger sat next to you.

We prefer the 2-4-2 configuration of the 767 or Thomas Cooks A330
