chinita415 Posted November 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2016 Has anyone been to Cassis or the Calanques since the fires a few months ago? We are docked at Marseille on Sat Jan 21 and I was looking to go to Cassis and hike to the first 2 or 3 Calanques until I read about the massive fires in September. How much of that part of the trail was affected? Also, will there be boat tours in January? Assuming weather is ok of course.
Rare marazul Posted November 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) The boat tours operate all year, depending on the weather. Shorter hours in the winter. http://www.ot-cassis.com/en/ The Parc's website is only in French. I could not find anything on trail closures around Cassis. http://www.calanques-parcnational.fr/fr This is the regional website for weather/fire warnings: http://www.bouches-du-rhone.gouv.fr/ Right now they have heavy rain and flood warnings. (Orange on the map.) Edited November 27, 2016 by marazul
