dfencecoach Posted November 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Cruising on February 25th and looking for a place to spend the night before. Our group will need about 5 rooms. We do not need fancy but it has to be clean and safe. Cruise package will work but not necessary, as we can use a park and cruise lot. Any help will be appreciated. We have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites. Clean, comfortable and safe. Plus, a decent breakfast buffet is included.

AtlFolks Posted November 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Country Inn is reasonably priced, has a nice pool for swimming the afternoon before your cruise, and a decent breakfast. They have a park and cruise package that includes shuttle transportation to/from port. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

KBD1516 Posted November 30, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 30, 2016 This is for parking at the port. It is a discount parking program for hotels near the port. The hotel gives you a voucher when you check out and you drive yourself to the pier. Sent from my iPad using Forums
FloGaleRNTX Posted December 1, 2016 #9 Share Posted December 1, 2016 We've had very good luck at the Residence Inn. We are considering a cruise on the Oasis, and I believe we fly into Orlando/Pt. Canaveral. Do you know if the Residence Inn provides a shuttle to the port? Thanks! Barb
AtlFolks Posted December 1, 2016 #10 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Best thing to do is to look on the web for a Park and Cruise rate. All the hotels near the port offer this. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
fluffyduck Posted December 1, 2016 #11 Share Posted December 1, 2016 We always stay at the Radisson Resort at the Port 8701 Astronaut Blvd Cape Canaveral The pool is beautiful, they have a restaurant. But there are 2 next store, very good food. If you rent a car from Hertz they are next door with free transport to the port. The hotel also, has transportation from the hotel to port I forget how much it was much.

Make your reservations through the hotel 3 days prior to your arrival. Radisson to Port is $6.00 pp. You can make arrangements upon arrival. I would call the day before you get there so you have an early time .
Capt_BJ Posted December 1, 2016 #13 Share Posted December 1, 2016 you want SAFE??????? Well that rules out all of my recommendations this IS Cape Canaveral we're talking about ...... GET REAL
SFNC cruising Posted December 4, 2016 #14 Share Posted December 4, 2016 Comfort suites beside RonJon is nice BUT the transfer to the port is with Beachline and they pickup at 9am for Carnival. Owner is a rude man that has convinced the motel you can board the ship when you arrive at port before 930am. NOT

At the Radisson and the Country Inn & Suites we were always told first shuttles could not go before 10:00 or 10:30. (Wedding parties usually go on the first shuttles). The restaurants next door that you mentioned are you referring to Preachers and Kelsey's? How are they?
