1pm flight in Orlando possible?

Hi everyone! We have a 1pm or 8pm option for flying home from Orlando on the day the cruise returns to Port Canaveral. If we do the 1pm flight, will we be able to make it? Thanks in advance!

You should be fine, we just did this in October and we were at the airport by 1030 and were we took the cruise line bus

Yes. The 1pm flight is also the earliest time recommended by the line.

For a 1:00 flight you need to be at MCO by 11:30 -- 11 is better with the chaos known as TSA. The ride from PC to MCO takes about an hour, so as long as you are off the ship and clear of customs/immigration before 10 you should be fine.

 

Getting off the ship by 10 will be easy - sleep in, enjoy breakfast in the MDR, and then stroll off after the rush.

You should be fine with the 1 PM flight out ... but I would certainly not book a flight earlier than that because Orlando traffic is awful!
