Carnival valor line port canaveral

Does anyone know why the line is so long for the carnival valor in port canaveral? We got here at 1pm and have barely moved. Still outside. Haven't seen it like this before.

They said they were having computer problems. The ship left pretty late, like 5:30pm. We didn't even "ding" in for boarding, they just took our boarding pass and were doing it by hand. Even priority boarding didn't board until after 1pm, not sure exactly when.
