Breeze level 0 debarkation 12/11

Watching the cruise cam in Galveston this morning and they are using level 0. Doesn't look like the ramp is hooked up.

Further research shows the ramp is out of order. Wonder if that will slow down debark and embark?

Has anyone heard what the issue is? Has anyone heard when they hope to have this issue fixed? We embark three weeks from today, hopefully this is fixed by then. :D:D

Look at those people barely making it. They started to pull up the ramps and nets a few minutes ago.

Back in May, they had issues with the gangway too. We embarked via the gangway, but a week later they said it was having serious issues and they would not put passengers on it. We disembarked via deck 0. It was actually EASIER to disembark there because you walk across the dock and right into the luggage area.

The webcam operators in Galveston are on point. Any cam that has a potential view of the cruise ships coming in and out will pan and zoom to keep up with jt.

This occurred on my Sunshine cruise in March. They shuttled people from Deck 3 into elevators to go down. I had FTTF so not sure how much it slowed everything down, but I'm sure it did!

We are leaving on the 1st for a cruise out of Galveston, can anyone tell me how long the boarding process is with the Faster to the Fun and a check in slot of 10am?

If you enter the terminal check at 10 am check in will be quick. Then, you will cool your heels until boarding begins, which can be anytime between 11:00 and 1pm, depending on what time they docked, how fast they got the previous passengers off and got a zero count, if they have a Coast Guard or USPH inspection, full CBP review of the crew etc.

 

They will board any weddings first followed by the Diamond guests, Platinums, suites and FTTF.

 

We cruised out of Galveston in September and November. In September boarding began at 11:30am. There were several wedding parties and it took them about 15 minutes to get them onboard before they started boarding the Diamond guests. In November there were no weddings on our sailing and they started boarding with the Diamond guests at 11:20am.

If I'm not mistaken it should be deck 3 just aft of the forward elevators
