Is there anyway to find out about your Doc's. I am getting

very impatient and really want them in my little hands. I booked through an on-line agency. Am I able to make a call to RCI and find out if they are enroute?

If you booked through a TA, RCI won't tell you anything when you call. I would call the TA and have them call RCI to get the status. Typically RCI mails docs around 25-30 days before sailing, unless you purchased cruise air which could delay that process by a week or more.

 

Also, most TA's have access to RCI's TA website where they can also go and check document status.

It just seems that a lot of people are getting theirs 5 to 6 weeks out.

I want mine in my hands too but my TA just told me I wont get them until about 10 days before the cruise which is DEC 4 on the Explorer, I want them in my hands so bad. :mad:

I, too, was told that my docs might not arrive until approx. two weeks prior to sailing. :( I'd love to have 'em right now!

Yup, it's all true. I'm waiting for my passport - sent it in to be renewed late enough! My bad! And I need it to complete the online forms. The passport website said that I should have it around 11/15. Sailing is the 27th. Need it now - ugh!

Any more the travel documents really mean nothing. We received our documents a few weeks ahead of time and RCCL didn't even look at them. All they wanted was our Set Sail passes that you print online and your ID.

As a result, they didn't book my airplane flights or send me my docs. If this had happened now and I simply showed up with the setsail pass assuming that everything was normal even though I didn't have the docs, I would have had to straighten this out at the pier, which might not have been possible without paying money that I did not owe.

My docs for our Dec. 4th cruise on the Mariner are already in my possession. They came to my TA last week and I picked them up today. I have always had my docs 5-6 weeks out. This was the latest I've ever received them.

I didn't get my docs until 19 days before cruise time. They'll come. Don't panic yet. You've got plenty of time.

If that kind of problem occurred, I am pretty sure you would not be able to print out your SetSailPass. That would be a definite clue that something wasn't right and a good reason to call your TA (or RCI if you booked directly)

I've already printed our SetSail Pass, and I'll be taking along all my invoices from my TA, just in case. ;)

I received notice today from my online TA that my documents were ready to print. I have already printed our Set Sail passes through the RCL website. Do I need the other documents as well? I vaguely remember that the RCL website said that all we needed was the Set Sail Pass printed, passport & credit card.

 

I love when the documents show up - it means the cruise date is getting close!

I got the docs for my Thanksgiving cruise on Serenade a week ago last saturday, 3 weeks prior.
