cruising for New Years Eve on Carnival

I am sailing on the Imagination for new years eve and I am very excited. However, I have found very little about what to expect on board cruising on a Carnival ship during this time. Does anyone have any experiences about this? Thanks in advance!:D

A great time for sure. I've cruised New Years many times and I can tell you the ship feels more high energy from the time you board. The crew always seems upbeat too. There's a deck party up on Lido, and a party in the atrium. Free champagne when you board, and also up on the lido New Years eve around 11:30 PM. Some go all out when they dress for New Years. its like formal night taken to another level. IMO out of all the cruises I've done, New Years is by far my favorite time to cruise. This year its the Carnival Pride New Years cruise for us. (I like your name. I still play a lot of pinball)
