Miami Cruise to FLL airport

Welcome to the boards! :)

I'm sure this advice is somewhere in the threads provided, but you are limited until you can get ride of your bags and the airline will usually not allow you to check them until 3-4 hours prior to your flight.

There is baggage storage available at the FLL airport - shuttle there, store your bags and then you are free to hit the beach, grab lunch, etc.

There is baggage storage available at the Luggage Lounge in South Beach - taxi or Uber there from POM, store your bags, and then hit the beach, see the art deco architecture, people watch, etc.

Not sure when you are cruising, but if there is availability I would look at a day room in Fort Lauderdale; stash your bags, hit the pool or beach, grab lunch, etc. Roadway Inn is a budget place near FLL that offers day rates, but is also isolated from just about everywhere you would want to go for the day - you'll spend lots in cab/Uber fares without a rental car.

Good luck! :)
