Youngercruisers Posted December 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2016 Hello My Fellow Cruisers, My wife is a bit of a yoga junkie and was wondering if they offer yoga classes on the cruise(Dec 18) If so where does she sign up and what do they usually charge. Thanks again P
Rare TracieABD Posted December 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2016 Yes, they do. They are held in the gym, normally 3 times in a 7 day cruise. The cost is about $15 per class, but here is usually a bit of a discount if you sign up for the block- and that may lower the price to about $12. This is pretty comparable with land studio prices. The classes vary in difficulty- I have been in ship based classes where the majority is on your feet and pretty basic. I have been in classes where you are on your hands for 40% of the class- and spending 3 to 5 minutes in pigeon. (Your wife will get this). I think yoga at sea is best when the ocean is bumpy- nothing funnier than 16 people falling out of warrior 2 in slo-mo unison. I do a bit of yoga, so I am happy to answer specific questions.
