vaka08 Posted December 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2016 We are looking to book a cruise on Anthem and are trying to decide which category to book. we are a family of 4. It will be me, DH, and our two daughters (ages 1 and 4 at the time) We will be using a crib and a bed besides our bed. Choosing between a D3 balcony or a guarantee suite. We are looking to have the most space in the cabin. Is the extra space in a suite mainly taken up by the addition of the bathtub? Anyone with experience booking a guarantee balcony for 4- what class did you get?

You'll have lots of space to walk around in the room, especially with the crib, there is a tub, and a nice balcony. Keep in mind this is the SMALLEST room you could have with a GTY suite. There are some photos here http://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/anthem-of-the-seas-706/family-connected-junior-suite-184631/ but this is a family connected JS which is different from your standard one. I would just look at it to get an idea of the balcony and decor. A D3 is 190 sq feet with a 65 sq foot balcony (55 sq feet if you get the "smaller" balcony). photos: http://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/anthem-of-the-seas-706/balcony-cabin-184652/ In other words, GO WITH THE SUITE GTY. Unless the price difference is too much, of course.
