Help me pick Anthem room. 8212 or 8270.

8212.

Both cabins are about the same distance from the aft elevators, but 8212 is more midship with better access to the forward elevators.

8212 has no cabins across the hall whereas 8270 does have cabins across the hall

I agree with the post above from Carol. Go with the mid-ship cabin 8212.

Both cabins have the bed by the bathroom so there is a nice view from the sofa during the daytime as it is by the balcony in either.

Can you post where you find out which rooms has the bed by the bathroom and those by the balcony?

Find the closest balcony cabin that can sleep more than two passengers, which will be indicated as such with a triangle symbol, as it will always have its sofabed by the balcony and bed by bathroom. Every second cabin over from that cabin will have the same sofa/bed position and in between ones will have the opposite layout.

Also there is the connecting cabins method.

The connecting cabin on the right side when looking at both from corridor will always have the sofa by the balcony and bed by the bathroom. Again every second cabin over from that cabin will have the same sofa and bed position and in between ones will have the opposite layout or the same as the left side connecting cabin which is bed by balcony, sofa by bathroom.
