Do you tip more on the QM2?

I will be on the QM2's Christmas/New Year sailing. I will be using breakfast cabin service a lot and wonder what the usual tip would be for service for one. What do you tip?

Hi wags. Whatever amount you choose to tip will be appreciated - one, two or three dollars, depending on the complexity of the order :)

Nice of you to consider tipping for room service - but while it is not required, it is well deserved in my opinion .

Best wishes for a happy sailing to the New Year !

Regards,

Salacia

I've usually found that they are out of the cabin so quickly you have to be sharp to catch them.

Always found the room service staff among the best on the ship.

DAVID.

You get them from some of the ship's best restaurants. Two years ago I saw one of my PG waiters carrying a room service tray. I asked if she had to do double-duty that day. "Everything except housekeeping."
