Fairbanks hotel?

Can anyone tell me which hotel/motel HAL uses in Fairbanks? We will be arriving the night before the land tour begins so, will need to book the extra night. Thanks

I believe the Westmark, downtown.

Thanks guys. Wonder what the chance is on finding out what room HAL has us assigned to so we don"t have to move the next day. Not a major prob I know but it would be nice.

They don't assign rooms until about a week ahead. You need to let them know.

They advertise rooms in a north tower and a south tower. Which tower is advisable?

Give the Westmark a call, one building is short, 3 or so floors, and the other is tall. I don't think they would make you move.

When you call the Westmark to make your reservation tell them that you will be taking a cruisetour and you would like to have the same room that you will have for the first night of the cruisetour so that you don't have to change rooms. I'm sure that this will not be a problem.

OP, I had made my reservation a while ago and wrote a note on the reservation just as someone else suggested, telling them I was on cruise tour arriving the next day. They gt the note and it didn't sound as though it would be a problem. If I end up having to change rooms I will be disappointed because I'd rather have stayed someplace else the first night but booked it for simplicity.
