Tortola Dolphin Encounter

What can you tell me about this excursion (recommend or not)?

RCI is offering this but I am wondering if this can be done on one's own at a better price with less crowds? If you can do it on your own, is it doable (i.e. will it be easy to get transportation to and from the place, transportation expense)?

Tortola is too far for a cruiser to do on their own. Schedule may not be compatible, either.

You can do a swim with HUGE sea lions on St Thomas at Coral World. Some people have said it's better than dolphin swim because sea lions can do tricks on land.
