Laundry service- NCL Jewel

Sailing on the Jewel on a 16 day Panama cruise in late January.

Just want some clarity on how laundry service works and cost.

Seen a couple of posts where it looks like they charge $20 a bag full and get it back the next day.

Is it just wash and fold? Any dry cleaning service offered?

On some ships they offer a special pricing on certain days. Does the Jewel offer this?

One the 16 day I would imagine they will offer the bag full special at least once. It was $20 or $25 last time I remember. Only wash and fold.

The bag offer is usually about mid-week. You'll get a paper in your cabin announcing it and how to use the offer.

 

The return laundry is rarely the next day from the bag offer. It is usually a 2-day turnaround. It is wash and fold.

 

Dry cleaning is offered separately for a separate charge. You should have a laundry bag and charge list in your closet.

My wife can roll dirty clothes so tight that she can fill one laundry bag with a huge amount. Also, we double bag to keep it from tearing open with all she puts in there. She takes great pride in how heavy the bag is when she finishes.
