Royal Carribbean - Pre purchase On Board Credit

Good afternoon,

I would like your advice from Royal Carribbean cruisers re purchase of pre paid on board credit. My question is does the purchase of on board credit show up anywhere on your booking when you access the booking on line and if so where to find it. Many thanks for your help in this matter.

Sadly it doesn't show anywhere. If you do purchase it, you should receive a confirmation email which shows the amount of AUD you spent but not the USD amount you bought.

 

Additionally once onboard, your credit may not show up until day two. You will still be able to use your account up to $500usd (if no CC linked).

I have pre-purchased some OBC for an upcoming Anthem sailing and it does now show up anywhere for my booking online.

Correct, I bought some last week as the AUD was starting to fall. Notified by email and shows on the Credit card account. I expect to see it on my sea-pass account on the second day.

How do you buy the credit in Australia

 

I looked on the web site and couldn't find it anywhere as I would like to buy some for my cruise on the 3 January on the explorer

You need to call them 1800 754 500, and got through the prompts (1,1,2). Have your credit card and booking number handy.:D

They will tell you or at least they will tell you how much it will cost and you can then check. i.e $400 USD will cost $520 AUD.

You can always ask them before purchase yourself.

You may have to wait until Tuesday to call but as long as you have 3 days for them to process it, all will be fine.:D
