Verandas on the NA

Checking on a cruise on the NA and the double-wide VB verandas cabins we like are booked. Any suggestions, pros or cons, VC or VD cabins? If we can't get the VB we want we might as well save a little money! Thanks

I had a VE on deck 8 on NA and it was great. Normally I don't book cabins under a public deck but this one was under the spa and I never heard any noise from above.

We had a verandah cabin on the NA on deck 5 aft, category VB, cabin. Verandah was great, location could be a long walk to certain areas of the ship, but it wasn't that much of an issue for us. This time we are on the Eurodam, deck 5 mid ships which is a perfect location for us, but are aware of the more shallow balconies.

 

My preference is always to have cabins above and below my cabin to insure quiet, but like the other poster above said he had a cabin on a higher deck under the spa so noise was not an issue. Mi wouldn't chose a carbon under the Lido or above the MDR, but that's me. Hope this helped.

How about one of the extra deep ones 4053 (?)... wouldn't save you money but would give you the extra balcony...

We've been in 4182 and 7134, both aft VB verandahs and very, very nice.

I have to guess at the cabin number we had on the NA but I believe it was 5154.
