horsegal Posted January 8, 2017 #26 Share Posted January 8, 2017 I was looking at transportation for our cruise at the end of the month and noticed that it looks like enterprise will now be open on Sunday mornings. Dropping the car in Galveston added a huge fee so still wasn't worth it for us but leaving from there wasn't too bad but could not rent a car seat so still did not work but could work for others!! Cruzin4fam Posted February 14, 2017 #27 Share Posted February 14, 2017 We too are from Utah. We made the decision to fly into Dallas. We are renting a minivan for 8 days and parking it in Galveston for the week of the cruise. The price of flights, rental and parking still saved us over $1000 compared to flying into either Houston airport and getting a transfer to Galveston. We were able to take the $1000 and put it into some fun excursions. Worth the drive for us! :D
panoramaofthepast Posted February 19, 2017 #28 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Here's another suggestion - there is a service that will take you from Dallas to the cruise port in Galveston and pick you up at the end of your cruise. I have never used it, but here is the link. https://dfw2galveston.com/prices
