It's been a few years since we've flown to Barcelona and was trying to get an idea of what most people are paying. We will be flying from Dallas-Fort Worth airport, once we plan our cruise. Rare Manbo Posted December 30, 2016 #8 Share Posted December 30, 2016 Check out WOW airline. Flies through Iceland, but great fares and ratings. FYI...we paid $1,000 round trip non-stop from Philly in September on American. Non stop, about 7 hours in the air.

tombec1 Posted December 30, 2016 #10 Share Posted December 30, 2016 A great resource for checking airfare is google flights. It's got an awesme feature where you can see a fare graph by date.

It is worth the money to fly direct ... our cruise companions were stranded in Paris overnight when they missed their connection due to mechanical problems. Xyla Posted December 30, 2016 #18 Share Posted December 30, 2016 We are flying out of DFW into BCN for our March Spirit cruise. I caught a sale on Delta for $445 roundtrip. I set up several fare alerts on sites and haven't seen that low a price very often from any of the TX airports I was checking (AUS,DFW,IAH). It's good to read that deals are still possible out of DFW. We snagged one on our last trip to BCN but that was 4 years ago. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk Air prices are all over the place. Are you asking just for conversation, or trying to find a good deal? Even if only one way, buying a RT might be a good deal. We have done coach in the $600 range. Recently did Biz RT from Nashville for $1500 Days of week, month, season all have major impacts. Linda the Book Lover Posted December 31, 2016 #25 Share Posted December 31, 2016 I have tried fare alerts and have kept my eyes open to fly into BCN from Sac. Needless to say the prices from the west coast are outrageous. We are over two hours from San Francisco which we left out of for one cruise. We will not do that one again. We also took SWA to San Francisco and transferred for another vacation. It was not fun and based on those two experiences we decided to bite the bullet and keep our eyes open. How close to your cruise did you find your better prices?
