Taxi cost Galveston to Texas city

Does anyone know how much a taxi would cost to/from Texas city to Galveston? I am thinking about doing a car rental (possibly budget) and having the moms/kids picked up/dropped off at the port with the luggage and then the dads would get/ drop off the cars and take a taxi. Also do you know about how long it would take to get to Texas city? Thank you

It shouldn't be all that much as Toxic city is just across the bridge. You plan is actually pretty reasonable. Some of the folks on here tend to lean towards the more complicated to save a few pennies. ;)

It's either this or the carnival transfer to hobby and a car for one day post cruise. Trying to decide if it's going to be worth the extra effort lol
