GTY cabin can I use porters?

I have never sailed out of Miami cruise terminal, plus this is our first cruise with NCL and our first guaranteed cabin. I usually check my luggage, I don't care to carry them on ourselves. Can I still check my bags and have them delivered to our room without knowing our cabin number?

I believe I had read this on a thread but I can't recall the process, and now can't located the thread.

Thanks in advance, 30 days today and we sail on the sky (cheapness sucked us in, lol- we weren't planning on travelling until April).

Yes, you can and most likely you will have a cabin assigned within next few weeks - while assignments on the day of can happen, it's very rare.

Great! I was hoping to get a cabin number soon.

Thanks for the quick replies. I had read quite a few comments about people not having numbers until the day of, so I thought it may have been more common. Good to know! 😀
