Recommendations on BA transfers

I'm booked on the Celebrity cruise to Antarctica this February. There will be 2 of us with a combined 2 large suitcases, 2 medium suitcases and 2 carry-ons. Most of the airport/hotel and hotel/cruise terminal transfers that I've seen restrict each passenger to 1 suitcase and a carry-on. Based on research, I think that I can make http://www.airporttransfersbuenosaires.com, http://www.argentinatransfers.com, or http://www.airportshuttles.com/buenosaires-argentina.php work by booking a larger vehicle. Does anyone have any recent experience with these companies?

We did hire a tour guide in buenos aires who did the tour.

They customized the service and picked up at port, did the tour and transfer out to international airoprt and some others went to their hotels.

Transfers and Tours are a wonderful option!

We transfered by Ibis Congreso-arranged cab from that hotel to EZE. $33.

At the port a Mafia taxi demanded $90 for a transfer to Ibis. We settled for $13.

The real problem is the small size of the cabs, even vans. We had two roll-on suitcases plus two carry-ons. With one of the suitcases and a carry-on riding on the front passenger seat, the cab accommodated two passengers . . .

A young family with two kids and lots of luggage waited for a taxi Mafia van at the port. It didn't look good.

No experience with your companies but a warning for Taxi Ezeiza.

We have used them for each of our EZE - hotel transfers on all four of our visits to Buenos Aires but, on our most recent visit, the 'special' price for the return hotel - EZE transfer was not honoured despite me having it in writing from Taxi Ezeiza when we had arrived three weeks earlier.

Disappointing, but they would not move.

The cheap way out, I just used again, is the airport bus. Leaves right from the port, 150 pesos. / $10USpp :)

That was good information. How about the other way around? Is there a bus from the airport (EZE) to hotel locations downtown?

Manuel Leon Tienda offers hourly shuttle service to its downtown terminal near Puerto Madero. They have also intermittently offered a transfer via cab from their downtown terminal to your hotel for a nominal additional fee (it used to be 45 or 50 pesos but that was several years ago). The current rate for their bus service is 180 pesos per person (360 per couple, plus the cost of onward transfer to your hotel).

The current rate for Taxi Ezeiza from EZE to your hotel in central Buenos Aires (which includes the neighborhoods where you are most likely to stay) is

650 pesos per car.

The net cost difference between the shuttle bus/taxi and taxi service is approximately 100-150 pesos per couple, depending on current charges for onward transfer from the shuttle terminal to your hotel or about USD 9.50.

Note: Current rates are subject to frequent changes in Argentina where inflation is often a major problem.

When last I arrived at EZE about 10 days ago, I was able to call for a mid sized car via Uber which charged 375 pesos for a ride equivalent to the Centro. Uber now shows between 350- 450 for such a ride. A standard card should be able to hold all your bags.
