Taxi from Coxen Hole to West Bay

Can anyone tell me if taxis are readily available at Coxen Hole and what is the fare to West Bay?

Can anyone tell me if taxis are readily available at Coxen Hole and what is the fare to West Bay?

 

 

There are plenty of taxi at the port, the fares are not regulated, it is all about the haggle. I have seen as low at $15 per person (4 people) round trip.

 

There are very few, if any, taxi hanging about West Bay looking for fares because most people sort round trip.

 

One may be able to get a lower rate of they speak Spanish and walk out to the main road. Instead of going to West Bay, get dropped in West End, then take a water taxi $3 to West Bay. Ya need to reverse the process with plenty of time. There are usually taxi hanging about "The Triangle" in West End. The random taxi may still try to fleece you knowing you have to be back at the ship.
