Marseille to Aix-en-Provence by Bus

We will be on a cruise that stops in Marseille/Joliette J4 and would like to get to Aix by bus. Any info on where to get bus, how far it is from Joliette J4, how much it costs and how long it takes would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the info.

We have discussed this issue in numerous posts. The bus station is adjacent to the St Charles train station) that is the main station in town. You will need to get from your ship to the train station and easiest way is to simply share a taxi. If you use a cruise line bus transfer to town, you would be left with about a 15 min walk..or could hop on a local bus from the Old Port (where the shuttle buses drop cruise ship passengers). Once at the train station you could either take a bus or take the train (they are both good options).
