Cable Beach in January

We will be in Nassau on Jan. 2 and are planning a beach day. How is the weather at this time of year? Swimming?

We stayed at Atlantis last year at the beginning of January. The weather was nice upper 70s low 80s. The water was a bit choppy and was a lot colder than we expected. We are from Michigan we were expecting it to be warmer water. It was nice and sunny though. HTH

Nassau in the winter time is hit or miss, not really far enough south in the carribean to offer warm waters in the winter time. Nice but not warm.:cool:

I have been watching the Bahamas weather on the internet because we leave in about two weeks. It has been mid to high 70's... That is good enough for me!
