American Express recently discontinued their Emergency Evacuation and Transportation policy. Their Stand Alone Policy cost $32.00 for a $100,000 per person before it was discontinued. Their policy provided sixty days of coverage. The attached chart shows the benefits provided by three different credit card companies. The total cost of the trip must be paid on the credit card for the policy to be effective.

Similar situation for us --used Holland America's onboard doctor, was charged to our account, upon return home, we sbumitted to our travel insurance only----GENERALI travel insurance (used to be CSA) and expenses were covered.

But what we really appreciated was that we did not have to double submit with our medical insurance company to figure out which was primary/secondary, GENERALI handled all coordination among the providers in their claim process https://www.generalitravelinsurance.com/start-a-claim/how-to.html , we just submitted 1 claim w/ them w/ all documentation. We received 2 claims payments. Very hassle free.
