You can probably arrive as early as 10am, maybe earlier. After security, you get checked in, then you wait on the second floor of the terminal in a section determined by your C&A level or if your stateroom is a suite. Boarding probably around 11am.

Depends on port personnel. Sometimes they let a party stay together with the highest level guests, sometimes not.

 

If the port personnel won't let your travel partners stay in the Platinum area, then just stay with the first time cruisers. The difference will be 10 minutes at the most.
