party band on equinox

Can anyone who has sailed the Equinox in December or January comment on who the party (house) band is, and how you felt about them?

Just got off the Equinox and the house band was Nu Image. They were all right and we felt there music was good. There were also other bands and a D.J. onboard.

They did a great job on 50/60/70 nights although I did miss a female voice (all male group)... The three piece jazz group was really good and they had a couple of ladies that played violin and guitar that were great before dinner (same for the young man and woman who sang and played guitar)... The pool band does have a female singer but they spend as much time moving from venue to venue as they do playing.

 

Overall a lot of music on the Holiday 14 night...

 

Assistant cruise director (Justin) was a riot... and I am not one of those folks who normally care much about a cruise director!

Thank you all for your prompt replies. One of you mentioned that the house band was all male, but the pool band had a female singer. I thought the house band was the band that played by the pool.

 

I understand that other groups play by the pool also, but aren't the house band and pool band one and the same?

in the band that played in the theatre on the Holiday Cruise this past few weeks was AWESOME...even the "special" entertainers remarked how good he was!!! enjoy!!! LuAnn
