Crystal Symphony Holiday Cruise 2016 Issues

The recent Holiday Cruise Down under encountered issues on the delivery of the excursion on New Years Eve on Sydney Harbour such as crowding and insufficient seats and tables and high noise levels, running out of champagne and long queues to reboard Crystal Symphony at the end of the evening. This many issues are disappointing given the long lead time to organise the event and opportunity to learn lesson from the last time that Crystal Symphony was in Sydney harbour for New Years Eve in 2012/2013. How does that performance correspond to promise of exclusive experiences promoted by Crystal and how can we trust Crystal to deliver on our dreams and aspirations when using you for luxury all exclusive cruises? I recognize compensation was offered however after the fact gestures don’t fix the delivery that customers expect

We hosted this event two years ago with flawless results - so we're as disappointed as our guests, that this year’s event fell short of expectations. In our constant pursuit of service excellence, we have worked closely with our shoreside partners to identify where things were less than perfect, to ensure that if we do host this event again in the future, it will be just as seamless as it was, two years ago.

This was indeed a most memorable event - for all the wrong reasons I am afraid

 

Re your statement about Crystal having delivered this event successfully 2 years ago - for the record the last time Crystal was in Sydney for NYE was Dec 2012/January 2013 with Crystal Symphony - so it was in fact 4 years ago

 

From my discussions with those who were on that voyage a number of the issues that we experienced this time occurred then as well - although they were not on the catamarans and harbour for as long as we were this time
