Norwegian Coastal Cruises

I do love Princess - but DH & I are seriously looking at GCT - Norwegian Fjords and Lapland - much of it is land but it is 5 nights on a Norwegian Coastal steamer - the best part is they offer a pre-trip for 4 nights (3 days) in St. Petersburg. The info is on the GCT website - http://www.gct.com

It does not cover Copenhagen - which means we can do the westbound transatlantic repositioning on the Star Princess - then we really will sea a part of the world I want to see.

Has anyone taken this or any trip on a Norwegian Coastal ship (not connected with Norwegian Cruise Line)

Thanks for any feed back - I was not sure where to post ths.

GCT is Grand Circle, not Norwegian Coastal Voyages (Hurtigruten). It looks like part of the GCT trip is on a Hurtigruten ship from Bergen to Kirkenes.

We did the 17 day Grand Norway on NCV in May. If anyone's interested, here's our review of the whole trip. The address for pictures is at the end of the review.
