Carriage Ride

My husband and I are sailing on the Magic in a couple weeks. We have booked the Carriage ride in Belize. Has anyone recently done this, and if so, did you enjoy it?

My husband and I are also booked for this excursion in March, interested in past experiences also. Can't seem to find much info on it :)

Both of you are probably paying too much for the excursion. Outside the tender pier gates you will find any number of carriages looking for fares. They will give you a tour of the city including the Anglican church, Cultural museum in the old Governors mansion, the market, the national museum, etc. Drivers all speak English. Won't take you to unsafe areas. And might suggest a good local spot for lunch.

We have decided to cancel the excursion, just wasn't sure what to do as this was our first time at this port :)
