Does anyone know when she is going in for refurbishment? Second....is it going to be extensive or just cosmetic ?

Thanks

According to CruiseCritic's list of upcoming cruise ship refurbishments, the Pearl will be in dry dock February 6-27, 2017. Plans are that public areas, including restaurants and lounges, will be redecorated. Staterooms will get a modernization.

There is a 7 day cruise Feb 6-13 so I am thinking the dry dock has been delayed until at least the 13th. After that it looks like the next cruise is March 3 only 18 days for the drydock hope they can get it all done.

We are on the March 3rd cruise. I wondering if there has ever been a time they needed to cancel a cruise because dry-dock didn't go as expected???

While the answers above indicate a cruise before you, the answer is yes.

Most recently, the pride of America extended their dry dock last year due to weather. This left passengers scrambling for accommodations.

In late 2015, the Epic extended its dry dock twice causing us having to reschedule (those were announced in advance).
