New To MSC Status Match Question

We have just booked our first MSC cruise on the Seaside for March 2018. We are part of a group booking that received OBC for booking through TA. Have just submitted info to match status to our Marriott status (both have silver). I am wondering if we will be able to receive the 5% off our cruise pricing? Also, would we qualify for the $50 OBC?

We received our MSC match status after booking the Seaside. We were told that all perks apply - even to our first cruise. [emoji6][emoji4]

Great to hear. I have just submitted the status match forms. Did you need to call MSC to get the discount or did you have to go through your TA?

We booked directly with MSC - so I can't say what happens when you use a TA. But....the MSC rep did reach out about the discount - and all the perks we are entitled to - when I sent her our newly assigned Voyager numbers. I think once the number is attached to your booking the rest will fall in to place.

 

I'd start with your TA - since they technically own your booking - and then go from there.

I did mine thru the USA website and was contacted in 2 days.

The $50 OBC is only for select 'Voyages' sailings.

Your TA will have to call MSC to get the 5% status match discount. Just had my booking adjusted today
