BuckeyeMan Posted January 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Can't decide on the two. A little background. Will be first time to St. Thomas. Coming in on Celebrity. Looking to rent a couple chairs, umbrella and get some drinks. Will be in port from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Quick lunch at the beach. Don't want some place totally remote. Would like it to be at least a somewhat active beach, music, etc. What am I looking at for cab fee to both beaches? Time to both beaches? Much appreciated for any help. I am researched on the forum here but just looking for a llittle more info. Thanks in advance.
Ms411 Posted January 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Neither of those beaches are active with music. Coki is the only beach with music.
blue_water Posted January 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2017 If you want a lively vibe (and busy) Coki would be a good choice, taxi would be about 25 minutes and $10 - 11pp each way. Lindbergh Bay (aka Emerald Beach) is much closer to your port (Crown Bay) than other beaches and there is a beach bar at both the Emerald beach resort and the Island Beachcomber. Just a thought if you aren't spending enough time at the beach for the longer taxi...
