What is the 'Ultimate Beverage Package"

For first two guests. You do have to pay the gratuities for the package. But worth it!

Book with NCL UK. You will not be required to pay any gratuities if you choose the beverage option. It is completely "free" (i.e. included in your cruise fare).

We had 2 free at sea items.

But we still had to pre pay "service charge" for UBP.

Yes exactly the package we booked. Free gratuities for the length of the cruise but we did pay service charge/gratuity for the UBP

It's against the rules, but that's probably not what you're asking.

 

Are you thinking of purchasing the package? They will require both of you to purchase it in that case (assuming you are booked in the same cabin).

 

If you are receiving it as a booking perk, again you and your wife would both have to choose the same perk.

 

If there are more than two of you in the cabin, only the first two get the free UBP. And I'm sure a lot of guests #3 and #4 have enjoyed drinks for free ordered by guests #1 and #2. But again, it's against the rules.
