Just returned from Allure, St Maarten, St Thomas, Nassau

Were you at the Sunset Beach Bar on Maho?

 

I don't see all the hype with this beach. We did a tour which included a few hours there. It was incredibly crowded and not a huge area to really find a spot. We have booked this itinerary again and I'm thinking if anorthe spot. I want to try a beach club at orient but worried as I'll have kids. I just not going back to maho

Just keep to the mid to north end of the beach. We'll be back next month with kids and grandkids.

Do you remember how much the cab was from the port to Maho Beach? Was it easy to get a cab back? What time did you leave Maho? I don't want to cut it close at all getting back to the ship. Thanks for your help.

 

The cab fare depends on how many are in the cab, I think we paid around eight dollars one-way. It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes to get to beach and back, depending on traffic. Taxi cabs were everywhere, no problem getting one back to the ship.
