alb38 Posted November 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2005 I read on another post that AA offers some kind of Baggage service in San Juan. Can somebody please explain to me what this is? We have an late afternoon flight and wanted to do a little exploring before we have to catch our flight home and would be great if AA could take luggage early. mary mary quite contrary Posted November 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2005 We're going on the Explorer out of Miami. Is it true that we can check our bags as we leave the ship with American Airlines? And that they will somehow travel to the Miami airport, then fly home with us? Sounds like magic to me! Anything like that going from the airport to the cruise terminal?
wrp96 Posted November 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2005 Whether or not they will allow you to check in at the pier will depend on what time you are flying out and which cruise line. And the time depends on the week. I know RCI's terminal in Miami has an AA check in area. It is only available for cruisers with flights leaving after a certain time, but there is no set time. It changes each week. There was a thread on this a couple of months ago and the times ranged from flights after 11:30 to flights after 2pm. One person said the week they cruised it was only for flights before a certain time. So don't make all your plans depending on that it will be available for your flight times.
