Celebrity food compared to Golden Corral

First time cruiser. How would you rate Celebrity's food (mar/buffet) to , say, Golden Corral restaurant?

 

I ask because I was taken to this place today, and curious if the ship food would be similar.

Though the food was far below quality Jan.22-Feb.5(Eclipse)than in 2015,it's still better than Golden Corral. The complaints were so bad, Bogdan the Maître D made the chefs come out & address the issues. The food got better, but still hit & miss. The last 2 nights it was excellent. I blame the decline on the Ex. chef & not cutbacks. We still booked the Eclipse for next Jan. 21 (14 day trip).
