Freedom of the Seas Excursions reviews and differences

Recommended Posts

Good Morning - We haven't cruised for years and are new to Royal.

For Costa Maya - Can anyone tell me the difference between the "regular" Chacchoben Ruins excursion and the "Exclusive Ruins" excursion? the time is different by 1/2 hour in duration - but the website doesn't give enough information to determine the differences.

Also - for some of the excursions in Cozumel - there is an option to get an "observer" pass for the dolphin interactions. If you booked your kids for the activity, is there any chance that you could get "shut out" and not get the observer pass onboard?

Lastly - Is there any reliable place to find better reviews of the Cruise line Provided excursions?

thanks in Advance!

Welcome to Cruise critic. My answer to the question above is, I don't THINK so. For awhile Royal was letting you review excursions on their site, but there were so many bad reviews they stopped doing so. (I haven't looked lately) I am about to reserve a couple here soon, a few from Royal directly, I'll check. IMO, Royals excursions are inferior to many private ones. The worst one I ever had was on Antigua and was an official Royal sponsored ones. After enough complaints they dropped that vendor.
