Vikstar Posted January 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) It's been a while since I cruised and just went onto the RCI site to buy some onboard credit for my upcoming cruise. I can't find where you can buy this anymore. Is this still offered prior to cruising - I used to be able to get a good AUD/USD exchange rate. Edited to add - I thought I would ask my second question here rather than start a new thread. We have My Time Dining and have chosen to pay our gratuities on board. I recall them being added as a daily charge on the bill to pay at the end of the cruise. My question is, can I still have this removed and pay cash directly to the staff instead on the final night? I recall doing this on the Grandeur years ago. Edited January 28, 2017 by Vikstar Added another question
Baseball fan Posted January 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2017 I called RCCL directly to pay for On Board credit. I couldn't do it online either. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Fouremco Posted January 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2017 You will have to call to purchase the OBC. Yes, you can cancel your gratuities and pay cash directly, although I don't support such an approach.
jamesr3939 Posted January 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2017 You can by gift certificates on line and then cash them to your account. They have to be done before you sail.

Thanks for your response - I did see this but it said for US residents only

We are not very good tippers I am afraid, we are not used to them. I think it is a good idea. You don't have to worry about it now.
