Clarea Posted February 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Are sockets on RCI round or square and two or three pin please? RC ships have both US 3-pin sockets and Euro round sockets.

waterlegs Posted February 4, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Maybe this is helpful. http://www.cruise.co.uk/guides/cruise-information-plug-types/ Thanks. So that link says only two pin US sockets. Even if they have euro round that is no good to me. Better start looking at adaptors. Thanks everyone. Charles4515 Posted February 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Thanks. So that link says only two pin US sockets. Even if they have euro round that is no good to me. Better start looking at adaptors. Thanks everyone. They don't have U.K. sockets if that is what you are asking about. They have Euro sockets and US sockets. The US sockets will take two or three pin US plugs. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Fouremco Posted February 4, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Thanks. So that link says only two pin US sockets. Even if they have euro round that is no good to me. Better start looking at adaptors. Thanks everyone. The linked webpage is misleading. They are not including the ground, only the power pins. jamesr3939 Posted February 5, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Take an adapter and then you can use both plugs. We had always found UK (220) and US (110) sockets. I might have photos on the last Allure.

I might have photos on the last Allure. The 220 sockets on Allure are not U.K. sockets. They are Euro sockets. UK plugs won't fit in them. jamesr3939 Posted February 6, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 6, 2017 Good to know, my mistake. But you can still take an adapter and use both plugs. But I guess you would need two adapters.
