We are returning from a May 13 cruise and taking another the same day. Princess arrives at Ocean and the other leaves from Queen. Is there transportation we can take between or is is close enough to walk...with luggage?

Is that the Queen Elizabeth terminal? If so they are quite close, perhaps 15 min walk. It would depend on how much luggage you have. A taxi would be a few pound if you could get them to take you such a short journey. It is all within a docks area.

BTW we join Crown Princess for the her next cruise on that day. :)

It's Crown Princess we're going on the 13th. We're coming back on CARRIBEAN on the 13th. :)

In that case I would ask Princess as they may lay something on for passengers doing what you are doing. Just a thought.

A level 20-minute walk, all within the docks.

No restrictions on walking, but for much of it you are separated from heavy truck traffic by only a yellow painted line so you may prefer to take a taxi..

There is a taxi rank at the terminal.

Should you want to be the last off the ship in order to avoid a long wait to register at QE 11 terminal that taxi rank will probably be empty, but there'll be a steady supply of taxis bringing new cruisers to Ocean Terminal - so wait for one by the drop-point.

A two-minute drive, probably at the minimum fare of around £6 including the taxi's port fee.

Or drop your bags at QE 11 Terminal & take the taxi into town - a short distance to Town Quay for pubs & cafes & old-town sights, or a little further to West Quay Mall for retail therapy or to the rail station if you want to visit places outside the city.

JB :).
