NCL Free at Sea and Total Rewards Discount

Hi everyone, quick question that someone may know from recent experience. Can you use the Total Rewards Seven-star (20%) or Diamond (10%) discount and still receive the Free at Sea amenities?

Yes, I am a Total Rewards Diamond member and just booked an inside cabin on the Star. Got 20% off the cruise price and my choice of 1 promo offer.

 

The single supplement for this cruise was only 25%, and I had to wait 10 minutes on the phone for a supervisor to OK this combination discount. Last year for my NCL Spirit cruise, CAS said that I could not combine the Total Rewards Diamond 20% off deal with their no single supplement offer for that cruise. But you will always get the Free at Sea promos for the cabin category that you select.

I assume that Penthouse means Haven.

The free cruise offers and certificates only cover 7 day cruises. If you want to enjoy a longer cruise, then you can use the Total Rewards discount.

Thanks everyone. I spoke with Casino of the Seas yesterday and was able to book my 7* cruise for this year. I then upgraded the cabin to the Haven Owner's Suite and received all five promos that come with Haven currently. Apparently NCL has changed their policy. Before you would only receive promos that were applicable to the room granted by CoS regardless if you upgraded or not. I was also told that if using the TR discount you are still eligible for the promos. Years ago you could not combine promos and discounts on same reservation. Nice changes.
