Post cruise hotel recommendations in Nice

On Riviera cruise from Civitavecchia to Monte Carlo June 14 to 21st.

Will spend three days in Nice post cruise. Would appreciate any recommendations for hotels in Nice.

I stayed some years ago at the Palais de Mediterranee. Excellent and very beautiful hotel which is close to old town. It appears it is now a Hyatt Regency.

The Hotel Negresco was excellent and whimsical .... a gem.

I second the Negresco. Ask your TA for the deal that includes sea view room and breakfast.

Best Western (a known standard, 4ish stars) 5 mins from the Train station was good and spacious , Tram stops nearby too. Near the shops too.

I second the Negresco. Ask your TA for the deal that includes sea view room and breakfast.

I agree the Negresco is the place to stay. We had the sea view room with breakfast booked and were upgraded to one of the most beautiful suites we have ever stayed in. We always book hotels directly and find we get great treatment . Try for the upgrade!

We have stayed twice at LePerouse, (a Best Western property) very close to Old Town, train station, and is on the water. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this gem! Everything walkable, a huge plus in Nice where traffic is crazy!

Just an FYI, this hotel is $600 a night in June.

We stayed at the Hyatt in Nice. Really nice on the Med sea and easy to do hop on, off and within many wonderful restaurants. If you are loyal to Hyatt, this is an added bonus.
