How is it all going in MIA and FLL? I will be there in 3 weeks, DD in 5.

 

Also, any ideas how to find kosher resturants; real certified kosher, not kosher style. My travelmate is kosher. In a pinch she will eat vegitarian or fish (no shellfish).

Oh everything is for the most part back to normal and open. There is a bit of cosmetic damage, broken windows, signs, shredded awnings, damaged roofs, etc., but repairs are well underway. There is more damage in Broward than in Dade county, but it could have been a whole lot worse.

 

The only true Kosher restaurant I go to on a regular basis is Ben's Deli in Boca. It's a bit of a drive from Miami/Fort Lauderdale, but if you get up there it's wonderful!... http://www.bensdeli.net/

Thanks so much for the sources. Pearl had gone to the library and done a google search and was TOTALLY overwhelmed by the number of hits. Then she also wanted to check the "quality" of the certifying body. this is much easier.
