Norway Question

We have booked on the QM2 August 19th to Norway. I see that we do not visit the Geiranger fjord. Is it possible to get a sight seeing boat in Alesund and journey up the fjord? I know there is a boat in Geiranger but it leaves at 8:45 am and I don't think we can get there from Alesund in time.

For those of you who have done this cruise what time did you arrive in Alesund and what time did you leave. Thank you so much for any help you can give.

According to the port schedule, you arrive 9.00am and depart Alesund 5.00pm. I think you might struggle for time with your plans.

Have you checked to see if the ship offers an excursion like that? That is the only way I'd risk such a long boat trip.

Do you visit Olden? IIRC there was a ship's tour to Gerainger fjord on offer when we went there. If not, there were two guys on the quay side selling helicopter flights so you could try that!
