Room to room calling?

Me and my fiance will be sailing on the Fantasy 01/01/06 with two friends, and our room is pretty far from there's. We would like to be able to contact them room to room. Is there phones in the rooms and can you call another stateroom with it? Thanks in advance!

Yes, instructions for room to room calling are posted by the phones. On higher decks, you just dial cabin numbers but not sure about lower decks. House phones are also located various places on the ship to call cabins etc.

Room to room phones were a lifesaver for us with our large CC group -- we kept a post-it note with everyone's room numbers by the phone so we could phone anyone whenever we needed. We were on deck 8 and for anyone deck 6 and above, we just dialed their room number and reached them directly.

I can't remember - do Carnival room phones also have voicemail??

Yes to voice mail but it needs to be activiated when yu get to the cabin.

Follow the directions located on the phone.

This was a life savor for us too. Our kids could call their friends and figure out the plan for the day

We also used this on our last cruise, but it ended up that post it notes on the door worked even better! :p
