gillhalfpint Posted February 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Not in the deck 2 inside cabins. Did see some smokers on deck 9 wearing them though.

dorothy09 Posted February 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Can anybody tell me if robes are provided in cabins on Discovery? TIA We had a deluxe cabin on the Discovery last month and there were no robes. Plenty of hanging space and hangers though, shower curtain the only minus. While on the subject of cabins we liked the deluxe but took a look at the outside ones on deck three and were most impressed, so much so .that we have booked one for our next trip. Saved around £500 over the two weeks which we will probably reinvest on days out off the ship.
Gormels Posted February 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Robes were provided in our cabin 8084 Junior Suite over looking the back of the ship so I presume they must be in all the suites on Discovery also had Clarins toiletries which was an added bonus! That's good to hear. We're in 8080 on Discovery 2 so I'm assuming (hoping😀) that it will be the same

suekay Posted February 15, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Snap! We've booked Discovery 2 JS 8080 for the repo in April next year.:) I'll write a review after we sail in June. Hoping we haven't made a mistake booking the fourth cruise after Discovery starts sailing under Tui brand, but also hoping that Tui ironed out most of the possible snags experienced when Discovery was "launched". We've sailed on the ship when it was Legend, so we're looking forward to seeing the changes
jake 26 Posted February 15, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 15, 2017 I'm sure it will be fine.We were on Discovery in October and she is virtually a carbon copy of Legend so, as you say, they will have experienced possible snags. We look forward to your review.

Vitalsign Posted February 15, 2017 #12 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Shintaro I think you've misread the post - the Discovery booked for its 4th cruise is Discovery 2 which is currently Legend of the Seas (and is the same class as Discovery previously Serenade of the Seas)
jake 26 Posted February 15, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Shintaro I think you've misread the post - the Discovery booked for its 4th cruise is Discovery 2 which is currently Legend of the Seas (and is the same class as Discovery previously Serenade of the Seas) Slight correction - Discovery (1) was Splendour of the Seas, but you are right Legend will be Discovery 2, and holds fond memories for us too.
